OVERVIEW
PatientEval† is a clinical assessment app that helps students practice real life doctor-patient situations. It sets out to assist medical students in understanding how to diagnosis an illness, what key questions to ask, and what physical examinations to perform on the patient.
PROBLEM
Medical students, our future healthcare workers, require various practices and experiences to learn more about patient types, sicknesses, and procedures. Because med students do not have a license to practice, they cannot fully interact with patients and investigate a patients ailment.
SOLUTION
The solution is to provide authentic scenarios for medical students to familiarize themselves with the process of diagnoses.

It should include a variety of open cases — which are continuously updated by professors — and offers categories / questions the students may select from, to practice their inductive reasoning skills and form a diagnosis.

Guide
In asking questions, all patient answers are shown once and recorded in the notepad (as you cannot ‘take back’ asking a question); it formulates into a list where the medical students are required to select the key questions that lead to a diagnosis for the patient.

On the questions / diagnoses elected and submitted, a percentage will show the final score based on the correct selections. The results page will also indicate all correct, incorrect, and missed information for both the students and professors to analyze how the student performed.
